It’s that time of year to think about cozy food and fall meals. The other day I had a sourdough bread bowl with a bacon and loaded potato soup inside.
- 2 packets Red Star® Active Dry Yeast (4 and 1/2 teaspoons)
- 2 and 1/4 cups (540ml) warm water (110°F – 115°F)
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 Tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
- 6 cups (780g) bread flour
- egg wash: 1 large egg beaten with 1 Tablespoon milk
